Theory and composition are included as a regular part of the curriculum for piano and voice lessons. However, for high school students planning to major in music in college, concentrated work in theory and performance skills can help make the first year more successful.

Curriculum will vary depending on the needs of the student, but may include analysis, transposition, arranging, aural skills, music history, and rehearsal techniques.
